The Mira Association is a non-profit organization that has been running a cultural doula project on behalf of Region Stockholm since 2016. We support foreign-born pregnant women who are new to Sweden during pregnancy and childbirth, with the goal of creating more equitable maternity care. The project is funded by the Health and Medical Care Administration (HSF).
We have an office in Rinkeby Folkets hus but operate throughout the region and at all maternity hospitals.
About the role
As the operations manager, you are responsible for maintaining order, structure, and progress in the organization. You lead a small workgroup, follow up on goals and decisions, and ensure that tasks are completed. The role requires you to prioritize in a varying pace and stay the course even when unexpected issues arise.
You work strategically with the development and implementation of the organization in collaboration with HSF and Mira's board.
Who are you?
You have the ability to see and develop the strengths of individuals. We are a small team that works independently but needs a leader who helps us develop in the best way.
We are looking for someone with a leadership style based on dialogue, clarity, and the ability to coach and develop employees.
Main responsibilities
· Planning and follow-up of governing documents
· Personnel responsibility: employee conversations, salary discussions, leave planning
· Budget responsibility
· Reporting to Mira's board
· Follow-up of monthly reports and statistics
· Development and quality assurance work
· Occupational health and safety responsibility
· Develop strategy for implementation of the organization
Qualifications
· Minimum 2-3 years of management or leadership experience
· Experience in project work
· Experience in change and development work
Meritorious
· Experience from the non-profit sector
· Experience in healthcare
· Experience in budget work
· Labor law competence
Practical information
The position is part-time with a start date to be agreed upon. Mira's agreement with HSF extends to December 2027, with hopes for continuation. Selection and interviews are ongoing.
